Farewell Grandma Georgia

November 1920 - May 2012
Grandma Georgia Dutro, you will be greatly missed.
Grandma Georgia passed away a little unexpectedly, and we were all sad to see her go.  All of Cameron's siblings were able to make their way to California for the funeral.  It was a very sad situation, but we ended up having a wonderful time together.

We headed to Cali Thursday, May 24th.  And of course we had to stop at Steak 'n Shake in Vegas.  I am so excited they finally built one somewhat close by.  Cameron got his favorite side by side Banana Chocolate Shake.  They boys thought it was so cool how he drank it w/ 2 straws.

We had the funeral the following day.  It was a really good service!  Cameron's brother, Dad, cousin and Aunt spoke.  They all did an amazing job.  Following the service we had a yummy lunch.  And well...Connor couldn't get enough of all the desserts.

Afterward we decided to take a few pictures of the boys.  Stacie (Cam's sister) took this picture...isn't it adorable?!

After relaxing for a few minutes we headed to the burial.  I loved this picture of Nancy so I couldn't resist adding it.

The boys putting flowers on the casket (or basket as Cade thought it was called).  This was such a great learning experience for the boys.  They had a lot of questions about death and where Grandma Georgia went to.  They finally came to the conclusion that she has gone to Heaven to live w/ Heavenly Father and Jesus, along w/ Tucker ;) (the Long's dog that passed away a while ago).

I am so happy that we were able to make it to the funeral!  It was such a good experience and we loved visiting with all the family.
