Late Friday night, after Dallas's graduation we rushed back to Utah so Cameron, Momma, LeGrand and Hunter could run in a 10K the next morning. Oh I forgot to mention, Cameron didn't get to go to the graduation because he had to work, and would have only been able to come up Friday afternoon, I told him it was pointless to drive 4 hrs just to turn right back around and go home later that evening. I suggested he go fishing instead ;) Anyways, Nancy and Steve, Cam's parents, let us stay w/ them Friday night. We were so grateful because we all got in after midnight and it saved an extra 40 minutes. Plus the race was in Salt Lake City, and that saved the runners at least 20 minutes of driving Saturday morning. When we got there Nancy had set up a bed, or a couch for everyone, so all we had to do is go straight to bed when we got there, it was so nice, thanks Nancy and Steve!
So, Momma was so dang nervous about running a 10k b/c she hates running and she says she's really slow. But, I knew she could do it, Momma is so dedicated to working out, if she can't get to the gym to workout then she goes running, at least 2 miles I think, even if it's after 9pm!!! Anyways, this is her coming up to the finish line. LeGrand went back and found her after he finished and ran right along side her to encourage her, she said it helped out so much.
The big finish!!!
Yay!!!
Hunter, LeGrand, Momma and Lindsey. Lindsey was excited to hear Momma was doing the 10K so she joined in on the fun too.
We finally found Cameron, they all did a great job and made it to the end! Me and Daddy went to the finish line to cheer them on. We only got to see Momma come in, but that's the only one that really cared if we were there ;)
Sunday night was everyone's last night w/ us. Cade saying bye to his "Yaya (Leah)."
Carlos, Hunter, Hannah, Me, LeGrand, Momma, Daddy, Leah, Cade and Dallas (Cam took the picture). We were so sad to see everyone go the next morning. But, I was just so grateful that everyone was able to come visit. We had so much fun, I love my family, especially when they come to visit, which doesn't happen often enough. Actually it was Hunter, Hannah, and LeGrand's 1st visit ever to Utah, and everyone's 1st visit to my house (except Dallas, he's been here quite a few times.) Anyways, it made it a lot easier to say goodbye knowing that I was going home to visit them only a couple of weeks later.
