My Babies...

I just can't believe how fast time flies! We will be celebrating Cade's 2nd birthday tomorrow and Connor's 1st on Thursday! I mean, doesn't it seem like I just had them?! (I'm just glad I'm not going to be going into labor any second like I was last year after Cade's b-day!) We are actually going to be having a combined birthday party for them on Saturday, which I am very excited about. We have invited a few little kids their age and family members.
I am so happy the boys love each other so much. Of course, they do fight every once in a while, but overall they are great together. Whenever they enter the same room their little faces totally light up and they both get the biggest smiles. They are such good buddies. Here are some pictures of them interacting together from the past couple of weeks.

This was their first friend b-day party they attended. (Maybe practicing for their party?)

We went shopping at Smith's and they both got stickers, they thought it was so funny when I put it on their foreheads.

Learning how bubble wrap works, and lovin' it.

All dressed for church. They both would not look at me worth anything!

"Driving" a car at Fat Cats in Provo. They did not want to leave! We went there to eat w/ Dallas and Paige while they were in town.

Good Things Utah 2nd Visit!

Two weeks ago, May 25th, Lindsey and I got to go and be a part of the GTU audience. I love watching GTU every day, so I was very excited that we got to go. These are the 4 ladies that host the show, Nicea (with her daughter), Angie, Marti and Reagan. I look like a retard, I don't know why, maybe I wasn't ready for the picture, or maybe I was just so dang excited?

Outdoor Fun...

When the weather is nice we love to go outside. Utah weather has been ridiculous lately, sunny one day and snowing the next...what's up w/ that?!? I think it's all about to change now though. It's really getting hot outside! I think it's about time to pull out the kids baby pool that I bought on the end of season clearance, I am very excited! But, here are just a few of our outdoor adventures, surprisingly none of them are of us on our walks. I think most of all, that is the boys favorite activity, especially Cade's.
We have gone to the park a few times. The kids are, I'm happy to say, are no longer scared to go down slides! (As you can see here, Cade also likes to climb them.)

HI!!! Cade was too scared to reach out and lean like Connor, I guess he thought he'd fall.

We also have gone out a couple of times to fly a kite. Cade was too scared the first time to hold on to the line, maybe he thought he'd fly away w/ the kite too? But, the next time he went out, he wanted nothing to do but to hold the kite. Connor kept crawling after it the whole time.

We like to go outside and use our sidewalk chalk. Cade likes to draw w/ it, and Connor likes to eat them :)

I don't know why this picture uploaded like this, but we also looove playing on the deck, especially when there's food involved.

We went to Austin's birthday party (Cade's little friend) a couple of weeks ago. It was actually in between all the rain we've been having, very lucky, it felt wonderful. The boys had a great time! We played outside, played games, ate lunch and cake and ice cream.

I was inside for a few minutes and heard some commotion outside. I went to look and saw Cade trying to share his cake w/ Connor. Other kids were so excited they tried to share too, but luckily their parents stopped them. Connor looks like he's in pain here, but actually he is loving life.

My New Little Niece, Cassidy!

So, I feel like I haven't blogged in forever! Our wireless card isn't working on our ghetto laptop, so if I want to get online I have to go downstairs in our unfinished basement...so, I haven't been getting online very often the last few months. Because of this I am very behind. So I am just going to start from where I left off last time (I'll probably continue to catch up the next few days)....

The day before Mother's Day Dave and Lisa, Cam's brother, had their 3rd child. I can't believe what a trooper she was! She went in the middle of the night and had little Cassidy Saturday morning. She can't stand hospital beds or something, so she got released Sunday evening and came straight over to the Long's for dinner right after! I just couldn't believe how well she was doing!
This is all of the Long family together Sunday for Mother's Day. Stacie and her family came in from Denver for Nancy's 60th surprise b-day party Saturday, and of course so they could be here for Mother's Day! (Notice Lisa in the middle w/ barely 24 hr little baby! They're amazing)

We went over to their house that next Tuesday and brought dinner, so we could have an excuse to visit. Here are my boys, Lisa, Ellie and Cassidy (Mason didn't want to be in the picture).

And...Me w/ the gorgeous little Cassidy. They really do make gorgeous little babies.
